This exquisite Baroque period wardrobe cabinet is a two doors armoire cabinet

It is made of light caramel-colored walnut wood and solid birch wood core with intricately and precious rosewood moulding decoration throughout.

This luxury architecturally structured cabinet features two front coffered doors elegantly and richly carved with masks and floral patterns divided by three magnificently carved rosewood pilasters columns. Each door is embellished with rosewood architectural inlays decorations. The two doors with molding around the recessed panels that open on burnished bronze hinges reveal three interior shelves.        The upper part and the base are prominently ornamented with a carved cartouche showing flowers and stylized leaves decoration patterns.

The wardrobe cabinet is raised on big solid wood turned bun feet.

The hand-carved hardware such as burnished bronze hinges and key and the silvery finely chiselled metal lock are a work of art themselves. The hardware, locks, fittings and the key are original and work perfectly.

This sturdy and stately armoire dismantles into two equal parts, making it easy to get into confined spaces or up a narrow stairwell. Provides great storage for clothes or linens in a bedroom or as a pantry or cupboard in a kitchen or dining room. Beautiful patina, very good condition with charming signs of the time.
