This pair of tall French 19th century blue painted tole and parcel gilt tin pricket candlesticks feature an elegant neoclassical Louis XVI shape, a wonderful faded blue lacquer and gilded trim accents.
Each candleholder with inverted scalloped drip pan enriched by a foliate motif and with pricket at the top to hold the candle, above a baluster-shaped stem terminating in turned circular base. The whole rests on three hand crafted paw feet.
