This Italian Louis XVI period walnut three-drawers commode from the late 18th century, with bronze handles, banded drawers and fluted tapered square legs stands out for its marquetry, a wonderful hand crafted inlay work that adorn both the top and the sides with a neoclassical mythological inspired design.

Warm colors, wonderful wood grain and lovely patterns combined with its original patina, make this Italian commode an excellent choice for any bedroom, living room or foyer.
This storage piece of furniture has a nice scale and good proportions and would be the perfect eye catcher in any interior design project. Three dovetailed drawers with gilt bronze handles and escutcheons for plenty of space. The hardware is casted in neoclassical style, but not original to the piece.
This cabinet is a piece of high craftmanship featuring grand simplicity and purity of the lines tipycal of Louis XVI period . This elegant and timeless furniture fits to vintage, Midcentury, antique or a modern interior.
